First of all, I’m sorry that this newsletter is going out later than usual this week. It’s a sure sign that with just over four weeks to go until my baby arrives, I need to take a pause. I’m struggling to concentrate and am also dealing with a very emotional toddler who is struggling with the reality of his baby brother being a tangible thing rather than an abstract idea. (The arrival of a new playmat yesterday sent him into a meltdown).
I’m also feeling tired, slow and in need of a change of gear so, for now, The Freelance Parent will be taking a pause. I’m so grateful to each and every one of you for staying with me until now and sending me emails and messages when a topic particularly resonates with you. It’s so great to feel tuned into our small but engaged community of freelance parents.
I’ll be back as soon as I’m able, fresh with a new perspective as a mum of two and maybe a few more spelling mistakes as I tackle the sleep deprivation.
If you’re one of my new subscribers, take a look at the archive for a year’s worth of newsletters and I’ll be back in your inbox over the next couple of months.
Until next time.
